Amazing Minds Daycare

I have been caring for children for more than 30 years, and I created an environment where children are happy, confident, and independent.

Every child is a unique individual and we strive to meet the needs of the whole child in the following developmental areas, (Cognitive, Social and Emotional and Physical ). Amazing Minds daycare is dedicated
to provide the most joyful beginnings in education for all of our children. Each area in our classroom provides an environment where children are free to interact, inquire and extend their understanding through hands-on experiences. Activities are accessible to everyone including those with disabilities and health care
needs. We provide independent activities as well as structured activities. Example: Our housekeeping area
they practice household chores, putting families together. We also have an independent area with (Play dough) to support development of motor skills, language and literacy, math, sensory and integration. (Blocks) to promote children's physical, cognitive and social and emotional skills. Our environment is deliberately mapped out to meet the developmental needs of children across all domains, by offering a variety of sensory, exploratory, and imaginative learning opportunities. All classroom spaces and materials are arranged to support full participation by children of all abilities, with adaptation as needed to ensure meaningful engagement. We intentionally created opportunities for cooperative learning and peer interaction to build empathy, communication and leadership skills through shared activities and play.
Our daycare is CPR and First Aid certified. My program is also in the Maryland Excel program.
