I believe that each child learns differently and that each child deserves to be taught in a manner that works for them, that is age appropriate, that is developmentally appropriate, and that allows each child to succeed. While attending my childcare program all children regardless of age or ability will be exposed to many different learning environments. Some are very structured and some unstructured. I believe strongly that children learn best using both these learning environments.I use the 123 Learn Curriculum to plan for and support children's early learning in my program.I offer a smaller loving/caring/safe/experience enriched family child care program. I feel by having a smaller group of children in my program I am able to focus more on each child's individual wants and needs to ensure they receive the quality care they deserve to promote early childhood development. In addition a couple other things that I feel that make my program unique is I offer twice a month visits from a Zumba instructor to teach the kids dance moves, monthly Scholastic book orders, and twice a month a music teacher visits to sing and play instruments with the children.
