Learning and play, play and learning - these two essential ingredients are mixed together to create our unique Saplings program. Our qualified and caring staff bring learning into play and use play to facilitate learning with the Minnesota Early Learning Standards woven throughout each day's activities.Each week a new theme gives focus to the daily activities. Whether the theme is spiders or snowmen, play facilitates learning and learning is play. The children are exposed to songs, poems, finger plays, classic children's stories, and fun new books. The alphabet, beginning literacy, and number sense are all presented at appropriate levels for each child. With regular attendance in our Sapling program your child will have a good start toward kindergarten readiness.Our caring and compassionate staff is actively involved with the children and sensitive to each child's level of development. Social skills, kindness, and friendship are areas that are continually emphasized.
