As an early childhood educator, my focus is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment. This will help children grow and develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. Chidlren learn through play and age-appropriate activities, and toys. Partnership between family and daycare is essential. I encourage questions about your child's activity, nutrition, growth and development.I, as a quality childcare provider constantly evaluates my program and believes there is always room for improvement. I'm always learning about my field and stay current on child-related development and issues.We use the play-based approach to plan for and support the early learning and development of children in our program. My daycare is unique in that I incorporate Christian values into my teachings. I celebrate all the Christian holidays and use them as another curriculum tool. Children pray before meals and for each other during prayer requests. Bible verses are used in conjunction with art and other activities. I believe these values are important in a child's development.
