Program At Altadena Childcare Center & Preschool, we provide developmental, play-based care for children ages 3 months through 6 years. Our weekday program is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with full-time, part-time, and drop-in options. Children learn through age-appropriate activities, creative exploration, peer interaction, and daily play designed around their interests and stage of development. We provide meals and support families through the potty-training years. Our program welcomes infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, including children with exceptional needs. We accept government subsidies and work to create a nurturing foundation for children’s social, emotional, and early academic growth.
Teachers Our teaching team brings more than 10 years of child care experience along with early childhood education training, certified teacher credentials, a Child Development Associate credential, and current first-aid and CPR training. We enjoy supporting children during their early, formative years and building the social and academic foundation they need for continued growth. Our educators plan age-appropriate learning experiences, observe each child’s interests, and provide patient guidance through play, exploration, routines, and peer interactions. We welcome each child’s individuality and cultural background while working closely with families. Care is available in English, and our team is committed to creating a positive, attentive experience for every child.
Tuition 
Location Located in Pasadena, Altadena Childcare Center & Preschool is a business-zoned child care center designed for young children from infancy through preschool. Our indoor space is furnished with child care equipment and materials that support hands-on learning, creative activities, and active play. Children can also spend time in the backyard, where they have room to move, explore, and express their creativity with supervision. We maintain a clean, organized setting that helps children feel comfortable as they build independence and practice positive routines. The center welcomes up to 14 children, creating a setting where educators can remain attentive to each child throughout the day.
