Program

Hi! My name is Algena Lomax. I am licensed by the state of Ohio to care children in the Greater Cleveland Area. I have serviced in Cleveland area for over 24 years. I have care for children infancy to 12 years of age.

I provide a healthy and safe learning environment. I allow the children to explore and engage at their own pace. I provide loving and caring experiences for each of my children and families. Everyone at ICare is special and important to me. My hours our Monday through Friday 6am -12am Some weekends by appointments only.

This is not your average Family Childcare. The learning environment is an area where everyone can learn, young and old. We encourage inclusion with families and give them an opportunity to grow with us. This is what allows us to demonstrate quality care in our childcare environment.

I use every opportunity when the children are exploring as a learning experience. Our curriculum allows me to choose experiences that best interest your child and allow them to learn at their own pace and on individual basis. This gives them confidence in themselves and in learning.

As an experienced Early Childhood Professional with over 21 years of experience, I'm devoted to providing children with the tools they need to thrive and succeed. I am licensed by the State of Ohio, and serving families throughout Great Cleveland area and suburbs.

I have professional experience and certifications in First Aid and CPR. My childcare experience enables me to focus on age-appropriate activities for children to encourage their excitement for learning.

I also have an Associates Degree and Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have a great passion for children and their families as they embark on life experiences. Being able to assist them with childcare helps takes some of the pressure they maybe experiencing, and help give them a peace of mind.
