With over 28 years of teaching experience, I am the proud owner of Advanced Montessori Academy, where I provide a nurturing Montessori environment rooted in the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. I am AMI certified, hold an Early Childhood Education credential, and am GATE certified (Gifted and Talented Education), bringing a depth of expertise to every child’s learning journey.
At Advanced Montessori Academy, I apply Montessori principles across all ages, building a strong foundation for lifelong growth. I believe in movement and cognition—children learn best when they can move, explore, and engage with their surroundings. A safe and supportive space is essential for growth, and giving children choices empowers them to follow their interests, which is the truest sign of meaningful learning.
I bring learning in context into the classroom, connecting lessons to real-world experiences, and I value the teacher’s role in interacting meaningfully with each child to help them reach their highest potential. In our Montessori environment, order is a core value—every material is respected and kept in its place. This fosters order in a child’s mind, a skill they will carry with them for life.
