A Home for Us Family Child Care
At A Home for Us Family Child Care, we provide a warm, nurturing, and enriching environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. With over 37 years of experience in early childhood education, our program blends a nature play-based, Reggio-inspired approach with strong academic and creative foundations to support the whole child.
We believe children learn best through exploration, relationships, and meaningful experiences. Our program encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence through hands-on learning, art, music, and outdoor play.

About the Founder
Adrianne M. Moore, founder of A Home for Us Family Child Care, is a dedicated early childhood educator, advocate, and proud mother of eight children—four boys and four girls. With over 37 years of experience in child care and more than 20 years as a licensed family child care provider, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work with children and families.
Adrianne’s journey into family child care began when she was unable to find quality, home-based care that could meet the needs of her children, including her daughter with special needs and her hearing-impaired son. This experience became the foundation of her lifelong commitment to creating a program where all children are welcomed, supported, and able to thrive.
Her passion continues to guide her work today as she leads A Home for Us Family Child Care, a program rooted in a nature play-based, Reggio-inspired approach that blends nurturing care with strong academic and developmental support. Through her work, Adrianne remains deeply committed to advocating for families, providing flexible, inclusive care, and creating a true home away from home for every child she serves.
Adrianne and her family took such good care of my little girl. She had separation anxiety and eczema, but they were able to tend to her specific needs and help ease her transition into daycare. We’re very grateful for all their help and we will miss them very much.
