Since I can remember, I have always wanted to help and look after children in anyway that I could. I started babysitting when I was 16 years old for my cousins and family friends. During my time in college, I tutored inner city children ages 5-6. After graduating, I became an early childhood therapeutic specialist at The Children's Home of Cincinnati. I lead therapeutic groups for about 11 children, teaching them social skills and coping mechanisms that would aid them throughout their treatment progression. The population of children I worked with had quite a bit of trauma, so a huge part of my job was de-escalating their behaviors through verbal support. After over 3 years of working with the agency, I decided it was best for me to leave and try something new. I can cook, clean, and help with homework. I am CPR/First Aid Trained, as well. I love kids, and I love making them laugh and smile! I promise to protect and care for your child as if they were my own!
