Sparks Academy is a warm, nurturing, Montessori-inspired preschool serving children ages 18 months to 5 years in the heart of Irvine’s Great Park community. Our bright, beautiful, and exceptionally organized environment is thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Cleanliness, safety, and individualized care are at the heart of everything we do.
Our spacious outdoor classroom features a playhouse, climbing dome, swings, water play, gardening opportunities, and plenty of room for exploration and active play.
With our small group setting, we are able to meet each child where they are, supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Children receive individualized instruction in language, early literacy, mathematics, science, and practical life through hands-on materials and engaging learning experiences inspired by Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and classical education.
We believe children learn best through exploration, play, creativity, and meaningful relationships. Every day includes art, music, sensory exploration, outdoor adventures, and opportunities to build independence, confidence, kindness, and problem-solving skills.

Caring for and educating young children is truly my passion. As the owner and director of Sparks Academy, I have dedicated my career to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
With years of hands-on experience working with children of various ages, and as a mother of four children whom I have raised and homeschooled, I understand the importance of fostering not only academic readiness, but also confidence, kindness, creativity, and strong social-emotional skills. I believe that children learn best through a balance of purposeful play, exploration, and meaningful relationships.
I am certified in CPR and First Aid, and I am committed to providing families with peace of mind knowing their children are cared for in a loving, structured, and supportive setting. Every day, I strive to help children develop a lifelong love of learning while creating joyful memories and meaningful connections.
