Welcome to Tikiland Daycare & Preschool! We offer children a nurturing and loving environment that’s just like home. At our home daycare, our goal is to help children learn important social, emotional, and behavioral skills that ensure they reach their developmental milestones. We focus on a variety of Montessori Inspired, Reggio Emilia Inspired, Waldorf Inspired, Project-based, and Developmental Play-based activities to foster an environment of learning and discovery. We offer programs for a wide variety of ages from 0 months to 14 years. At our daycare, we provide a culturally diverse learning environment by offering programs in Spanish. With my professional experience and certifications in First Aid, CPR, teaching, and Early Childhood Education, I'm highly accomplished in teaching both educational and intentional play activities designed to develop children's' psychological, emotional, behavioral, and social skills.

Our kiddo has some separation anxiety in the beginning, and we can tell it improves by day as he gets more familiar with the staff (couple times he starts to open his arm with a big smile when we hand him over to the teachers). There was one time that we observe the kiddo was thirsty when he gets home, so I ask to give him extra water. The next day, I see him with a bottle next to him during their walk outside. This is a place that is loving, friendly and where I feel comfortable trusting them with my kid. Oh, and not to mention they have a big outside space that decorated like a mini jungle, and several cute rabbits.

They have the best communication, with text updates, emails, and quick daily recaps at pickup, so I always know what my child did that day. And the weekly photo updates? Adorable! The outdoor space is huge and fully enclosed, so I never worry about safety. The kids go on walks to the park and nearby school, which I love. And they’re on top of sun protection- hats on before outdoor play, always keeping the kids safe and comfortable.
A few other things I love: Kids learn social skills manners and independence- it’s more than just daycare it’s an early education program.
If you’re looking for a daycare that’s safe, loving, and packed with fun and learning, Tikiland is it. I’m so grateful we found this place- it truly feels like family!

At Tikiland Daycare & Preschool, our home daycare is designed for fun, discovery, and learning! Within the space, we have a classroom, a backyard, a patio, a nap room, an art area, and a reading area to create a comfortable environment for all of our activities.
We are located in a quiet Palo Alto neighborhood just around the corner from a park and an elementary school. Our family-oriented neighborhood has convenient street parking and accessible freeways.
