At The Learning Home, we believe that children learn best through exploration and play. When provided with a purposeful environment children master academic skills as well as important social and emotional skills. Through self-driven challenges, positive peer interactions, and teacher-facilitated activities each child becomes a more active learner.
As home-based providers, we believe in small teacher-to-child ratios and a home and school balance.
Claudia Maldonado has been in the Early Childhood Education field for more than 20 years. She has obtained positions as a preschool teacher, infant teacher, director, and owner of several preschools in the San Fernando Valley. As an early learning advocate, she is dedicated to creating quality preschools for all young children.
Claudia has over 30 units in ECE and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services.
The Learning home serves the community of Los Angeles and surrounding cities. Both the owners are born and raised Angelenos and have dedicated their careers to quality preschools. They have brought the play-based program to the City of LA.
