Since 2002 Smart Minds Daycare has been educating and inspiring children. I have had my own home daycare since 2002, and I have loved each and everyday. Before then, I spent 11 incredible years working at the Long Beach Veterans Hospital and it was there I found my passion for Early Childhood Education. With my two children enrolled in school I too began my studies in child development and eventually opened a daycare in my home. I have had ever type of child in my daycare and I celebrate diversity. I truly love children and they in turn keep me young. I am now currently enrolled in school to finish off my major.
My home is a warm and loving environment. I have a covered patio that I run my daycare in. My backyard has big toys and small toys for children to play with. We do a lot of outside activities during the warm summers. We play soft music to relax our children during nap time. This is a safe and beautiful place for your family to call home and I am delighted to welcome you here.
