But, Ms. Rouza was responsive and reassuring from day one, sending frequent photos throughout the day along with a baby “report card” at the end of each day. If we texted her with questions—about her process, required paperwork, operations rules, or general infant behavior—she was quick to respond even if the message was sent after hours. To be clear, we had zero expectation of her responding to after-hours queries, but Ms. Rouza has consistently been generous with her time and expertise. Over the years, we are and have been reassured that our daughter is safe and loved in their care. Throughout the pandemic and even after, Ms. Rouza has kept strict policies to keep the children safe and healthy. She will—and has—promptly called to inform us if our daughter is running a fever or if she has sustained some kind of injury. Notably, she has never received a significant injury while in their care (beyond the occasional scrape or bruise), and we attribute that directly to their attentiveness and emphasis on creating a safe environment for their children. Furthermore, Ms. Rouza routinely writes in her quarterly memos to parents to let her know if your child has sustained an injury while at home so they are aware of it and can monitor it as it heals. To this day, our daughter loves attending her school, and she has nothing but positive things to say about her days. We’re warmed by their genuinity and emotional intelligence, especially when it comes to caring for so many young, vulnerable children. We trust them wholeheartedly with the wellbeing of our daughter.
