Pixie Bilingual Family Daycare

Welcome to Pixie Bilingual Family Daycare! In my program, I offer fully bilingual education in both Spanish and English. Here your child will learn and be prepared as much as possible for kindergarten. We offer a toddler/preschool curriculum that will teach children numbers, alphabet, sight words, as well as creating their sentences as well as they play and interact with other children in the daycare. We provide as well a large variety of arts and crafts all year; we celebrate all holidays and emphasize family participation. (We also respect if a family doesn’t celebrate certain holidays and make everything inclusive for all children and families to enjoy and participate).

I prepare home cook meals everyday (breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2-3 snacks). Where I include what children like to eat, i make my meal menu based on the kids ideas as we like to include the children and have them participate.

I have experienced with working with toddlers-age 8 children in the Autism (verbal, non-verbal, sensory, Social Emotional, etc) and ADHD spectrum.(I do take as much trainings possible to better my self and provide the best care for your children. I take my time with each child to find what they like to do and not do, ways to teach them and help them learn.

I have been working with children since 2004. I started when I was 17 years old, and ever since day one, I loved working with children. I have experience caring for newborns up to age 10.
I when to school in Early Childhood Education, where I completed my teaching credentials. I have 16yrs of experience working with children in the ADHD spectrum and 14 years with children with autism.
I like to take my time with each child under my care and get to know them individually and understand them and see how can I help them learn, build there problem solving skills, confidence, social and emotional skills.

Our home set-up is an essential part of extending our goal. We have sufficient indoor and outdoor spaces. Children also have access to age-appropriate toys, books, and games. Where children can enjoy their day and explore as they play and create
