My goal at MICC is to encourage well-rounded, respectful and unbounded learning. I believe children need to use their bodies, minds and imagination daily to build the confidence they need to overcome any and all obstacles. Through careful lesson planning to innovative interpretation of one of my three curriculums, I am able to provide an outstanding learning environment & philosophy for my care. We use the Funshine Express, Carol's Curriculum (infant), Magic Kingdom, & 1,2,3 Learn (preschool) to plan for and support the early learning and development of children in our program. My program follows an interest-based approach to learning. Structure and schedule are very important in a child's life but flexibility and change are also necessary for children to grow into successful individuals. I react to excitement and curiosity with my lesson plans, even if a certain activity is not scheduled for that day.
