Welcome to Tykes Peak! Here I offer childcare for families looking to provide their child with a loving and compassionate environment that’s just like home. At my home daycare, my goal is to help children learn important social, emotional, and behavioral skills that prepare them for a successful and happy future through play based learning.
At Tykes Peak, the kids and I partake in weekly library visits, quarterly field trips, crafting, play, motor and social skill development and more!
I also operate using position-based enrollment to keep our group small (5-6 kids) in order to limit the spread of illness, establish stronger in-center relationships, to create a comfortable environment and to enable small group and 1:1 teaching. I'm passionate about kids and my childcare, and I have more than 12 years of experience teaching children. I also worked as a nanny for over a decade before becoming licensed as a 3rd generation in-home provider.
With my professional experience and certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Early Childhood Education, I focus on age-appropriate activities for children to encourage their excitement for learning.
Tykes Peak is a home daycare that cultivates curiosity, creativity, and learning, in a secure and safe space for your little one. For your convenience and safety, we have a driveway for parking. We also have a backyard, a nap room, and a reading area to promote a comfortable atmosphere where students can engage in their activities.
Located in Fort Lupton behind the towns Safeway, our daycare is in a quiet and safe family-oriented neighborhood with a park, an elementary school, and a middle school. We are close to street parking and out rec center is being remodeled while a splash pad in being added within walking distance for loads of summer fun!
