In my care, children enjoy plenty of hands-on activities, playtime, and learning opportunities that help them grow socially, emotionally, and developmentally. By the time they go home, they have had a full day of fun, movement, learning, and structure, so they are ready to wind down with their families.
I also do not offer a lot of screen time. While we may use music, learning songs, or short videos for transitions, most of our day is focused on teaching, playing, exploring, and interacting with one another.
