Little House Preschool offers an early childhood program incorporating Waldorf methods and ideas and strives to build a bridge between home and a child's first school experience. Nurturing and protecting children in a beautiful, warm, and enriching environment are key elements to our program. Age appropriate activities, beauty and a sense of goodness and reverence for life are highly respected in our philosophy. Our purpose is to educate children that have confidence in themselves and can meet the challenge of a complex and ever-changing world. Using the MN ECIPS as a foundation to this work is an integral part of our program.
Little House Family Center/Preschool provides childcare for families living in the Sauk Rapids area. Children engage in play-based, educational activities to help them achieve important milestones. The facility is a home daycare which fosters the development of social skills in a safe, caring environment. The director offers age-appropriate programming for kids aged 2 years 6 months to 6 years. A dual-language immersion program provides education and administrative support in both English and Other.
