Ol-King Cole HCC Preschool Daycare
Welcome to Little Bear Daycare! We are excited to work with you and your child to develop the foundation for your child’s future academic success. We strive to offer a quality program that recognizes and values each child’s unique traits and potential. We adhere to all state, county, and district rules regarding child care licensing, fire, safety, and nutrition. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children in which to learn and develop.
Margarita is our lead provider along with co-providers Diana and Matthew.
Margarita has over 14+ years of experience in childcare as well as teaching college-level classes. Diana and Matthew have 7+ years experience in a home daycare setting.
After working at a childcare center in NY, Matthew and Margarita moved to CA to start a home daycare with Diana in order to provide a more nurturing and attentive environment where children are allowed more room for freedom of expression.
The curriculum is child-centered and based around preparing children to enter school by helping them learn colors, numbers, the alphabet, fine and gross motor skills, basic hygiene such as washing hands, following class rules such as cleaning up toys, bilingual education with English/Spanish and much, much more!
Excellent service. My child is always happy to go and I feel safe to go to work. They meet my expectations and request.
It’s been really good. My kiddo is happy there. I like that they always communicate with me and tell me how his day is going, what he’s eaten, how he slept, and how he felt throughout the day.
You are a great professional, you have a lot of experience, I know you like children, and you know how to take care of them very well.
Our beautiful home is in the nice and quiet area of Wrigley Heights located near Wardlow Rd and Magnolia Ave. We are close to the 405, 710, and Wardlow train station, and a few minutes away from MemorialCare hospital. Many of our mothers work there.
Indoors we have diverse toys to stimulate all aspects of a child’s curiosity and creativity. We have books, puzzles, blocks, dolls, crayons, stickers, and so much more. Since the weather in California allows for fun in the sun almost every day of the year, children are encouraged to play outdoors instead of staying inside. The large backyard play area contains green grass for the kids to run and play along with a plethora of different activities such as sports balls, slides, cars, playhouses, and more.
