Welcome to JoyFULL Learning Developmental Childcare & Preschool! We offer children a supportive and friendly environment that’s just like home. At our home daycare, our goal is to help children learn important social, emotional, and behavioral skills that ensure they reach their developmental milestones. We offer an environment that advances curiosity and inquisitiveness through Reggio Emilia Inspired, Project-based, and Developmental Play-based activities. We know that schedules vary, and we have options for part-time and full-time packages. At our daycare, we provide a culturally diverse learning environment by offering programs in Spanish. I am an experienced director with over 31 years of experience, and I am committed to providing the highest quality of childcare.
In addition, I am an Early Childhood Educator and Child/Youth Educational Consultant. Which has allowed me to acquire a wide variety of experience and strategies to effectively work with individuals and various organizations serving grades Pre-K-12th and managing multiple projects. I have a lot of experience working with young children, families and diverse communities. Over the years, I've been a youth/community activist, promoting the importance of education and literacy. I served as the President of the Friends of Angeles Mesa Public Library for 18 years. I am currently an adjunct faculty for the Los Angeles Community College District, teaching Child Development.
I have earned a B.A. in Communications from Howard University, and M.A. in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College.
With my professional experience and certifications in First Aid, CPR, teaching, and Early Childhood Education, I focus on developmentally appropriate activities for children to encourage their excitement for learning.
Alejandra Boussart, Teacher’s Assistant
Alejandra Boussart is excited to be a part of JoyFULL Learning Developmental Childcare & Preschool. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. She’s fun, energetic, caring, and passionate. She has many years of experience caring for children, especially young children. She has worked in an elementary school as a teacher’s aide along with the afterschool daycare program. She has been a stay-at-home mom for many years and truly enjoyed it. She has learned how to care for and fulfill their needs in the most comforting and successful way.

JoyFULL Learning Developmental Childcare & Preschool is a home-based daycare that develops curiosity, creativity, and learning, in a secure and safe space for your little one. For your convenience and safety, we have a driveway for parking and a gated entrance. We also have a backyard, a nap room, an art area, and a reading area to promote a comfortable atmosphere where students can learn and play.
Located in the beautiful city of Pasadena, our daycare is in a quiet and pleasant family-oriented neighborhood with a park and an elementary school nearby. We are close to street parking and accessible freeways.
