Through this curriculum I am able to carry out educational activities that meet the needs of each specific age group, this aids in each child's learning at their current stage and promotes the progression of their development. I try to create the atmosphere for learning by implementing elements such as active learning, home/space arrangement, daily schedule/routine, and curriculum. I strive to have a stimulating and hands on environment that enables opportunities for children to explore, discover, and create both in teacher lead activities and child led exploration such as free play. I believe in supporting the uniqueness of each child. At Little Oaks Childcare, children are encouraged to be respectful, kind, polite, honest, and fair. I believe that a person who works with children needs to have love for them, their growth, and their development.
