The largest challenge I faced as a new mother was returning to work and the idea of who would care for my child. No one would or could possibly care for my child as much as I do. My child suffered with speech delay and wouldn't say a word so placing him with someone was daunt...Read moreing to say the least. I prayed and i prayed hard. I cried a lot out of fear and concern for the unknown. ....but God! I went to yelp and I found Hattie Mae's Playcare. I sent the owner a message and explained everything. She simply responded, "call me." I did. We met up. I toured her facility and was sold. She told me that very day that she would make sure my son started speaking. That was 3 years ago! And boy, he won't shut up now! I tell the owner often how thankful I am to have her helping to raise my son because that's exactly what she is doing. She loves him. Like really loves him. He is a member of her family. Hattie Mae's Daycare ensures safety, promotes education, experience, fun and most of all love! My son will be here until he is 25 lol! When you pray, God answers. Hattie Mae's continues to bless my life and especially my sons. The nourishment he has....his village is one I could never imagine of changing. Thanks Hattie Maes!

I have know Janell the owner at Hattie Maes Playcare for years through mutual people. I was so happy when she opened her own Childcare and I had my daughter who is now 12. She would watch my daughter on occasions outside of the normal hours of daycare which was convenient because...Read more Janell was very accommodating. She loved to be there, she always was doing something with the kids. The environment was very clean and welcoming. My daughter was treating as if she was a part of the family and never wanted to leave. When I went out of state and moved back in the area I particularly looked for housing in the area because I knew my kids would be in a safe place when I went to work. My boys have a lot of energy and they have plenty of room to move around and tons of activities to do. She also does field trips with the kids and celebrates special days with them. Janell does a great job of sharing her family traditions as well as accommodating others. She has a variety of healthy choices for the kids to eat. Im very happy to have Hattie Mae’s Playcare.
