At Flores Family Daycare, our mission is to help our students build their best selves. We believe that by providing a safe and engaging space for young people to explore their strengths and curiosities and learn from each other, they can develop the character skills and love for learning they need to thrive in school and in life. We are a bilingual program. This means we use English and Spanish throughout the school day. Young children are at a "critical period" when it comes to language learning; they are uniquely primed to learn a language. Learning a second language strengthens children's cognitive skills in addition to preparing them for a future in an increasingly globalized world.
I was inspired to create a program that provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore their surroundings. My daycare enriched with the formative value of a comprehensive, research-based curriculum designed to help children become creative and critical thinkers.
Our home is a place where children can come to explore their talents while growing educationally and emotionally. We’ve expertly designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests.
I reside in a family-friendly neighborhood in Sylmar, encompassed by several parks. It’s a relatively convenient location with parking readily available.
