From our cutting-edge playschool curriculum to our engaging afterschool program, we make sure every day is filled with both fun and meaningful learning. We support our families with safe and convenient TK/K pick ups, flexible scheduling, nutritious meals, and a vibrant community built on friendship.

Hi there! I’m Kelly, the owner and lead teacher here at Buttercups Daycare & Playschool. My journey in childcare began over 25 years ago, and my passion for nurturing little ones has only grown since. My experience spans everything from serving as a professional nanny and newborn care specialist to teaching Kindergarten Torah School.
I believe in a "best of all worlds" approach to learning. By blending proven theories like Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia, I’m able to tailor my teaching to fit each child’s unique personality and needs.

Our home-based daycare and preschool is tucked away in the heart of the family-friendly Riverpark neighborhood in Oxnard. We’ve designed our space to be a stimulating yet cozy "home away from home" where creativity and learning come naturally.
We know how busy life can get, so we aim to make things as simple as possible—we include everything except diapers in our tuition! Plus, we are just a short walk from local parks and only a few blocks from freeway access, making drop-offs and pick-ups a breeze.
