Kiddie Kollege offers safe, loving childcare in Wrens. Kids learn through curriculum-based, educational activities. The facility is a home daycare providing a safe, nurturing space where kids learn important social skills. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and accommodate special diets are offered for enrolled children. Age-appropriate activities are offered for kids aged toddler (12 months - 2 years), preschool (3 years - 4 years), and school age (5+). Full-time childcare hours are from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. (or to 8:00 pm by special request). Programs are available year-round. The director promotes a diverse learning environment offering programs in Spanish and American Sign Language. Kiddie Kollege is conveniently located on a quiet street within the city limits of Wrens. It is one of only two structures on its block in the Magnolia Heights subdivision and is within easy access of the city’s municipal facilities, a variety of stores, medical facilities, auto service, an elementary school, and eateries.
Teachers
Kiddie Kollege is a private home-based program that is solely owned and operated by Brenda Burns. It has been registered with the State since June 2006 and was granted the Quality Improvement Program (QIP) awards for two consecutive years.
Kiddie Kollege is not a babysitter facility but is an innovative program that broadens children's skills. The children are engaged throughout the day learning new skills and reinforcing already acquired ones.
In addition to its regular curriculum Kiddie Kollege:
• offers personalized, individual care

• serves nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch, and noon snack) as mandated by the
USDA
• is supported by the Supportive Nutritional Aid Program (SNAP), of Atlanta (food program
• evaluates child's progress
• promotes dental hygiene
• receives notifications via email of updated Sex Offenders Registry
• is registered with the state by the Bright From the Start Department of Early
Learning in Atlanta, and
• is monitored by the state licensing agent, the Medical College of Georgia Child
Care Resource and Referral Agency of East Georgia in Evans.
