Welcome to Blossoming Friends Preschool, where childhood is celebrated and learning happens naturally through play, exploration, relationships, and meaningful experiences.
Our program blends Montessori-inspired practices with elements of Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, nature-based learning, and developmentally appropriate play. We focus on the whole child, supporting social-emotional development, language, early academics, independence, creativity, physical development, and practical life skills.
With a small group setting and intentional teacher guidance, we are able to build strong relationships with each child and provide learning experiences based on their individual development, interests, and needs.
Most importantly, we want children to feel at home here. Blossoming Friends is a place to make friends, get messy, explore outside, create, wonder, practice independence, and develop a genuine love of learning.
We offer care Monday through Friday, with a dedicated preschool curriculum and enrichment experiences throughout the week. Enrollment is intentionally limited to maintain the close-knit, high-quality environment that makes Blossoming Friends special.
I am an early childhood educator with over 20 years of experience caring for, teaching, and supporting young children and their families. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, along with training in Montessori education, First Aid, and CPR.
After many years working in early childhood education, I created Blossoming Friends Preschool to provide children with the kind of environment I believe they deserve: warm, nurturing, intentional, and filled with opportunities to explore.
I believe children learn best through meaningful relationships, hands-on experiences, play, movement, nature, and the freedom to develop at their own pace. My goal is for every child in my care to feel safe, loved, capable, and excited to learn.

Blossoming Friends Preschool is a licensed home-based preschool in the Natomas community, thoughtfully designed to feel like a beautiful blend of home and school.
Our environment includes inviting spaces for art, books, blocks, dramatic play, sensory exploration, practical life experiences, quiet moments, and open-ended learning. Children also enjoy a spacious outdoor environment where they can move, explore nature, garden, play, and learn through hands-on experiences.
Our space is intentionally arranged to encourage independence, curiosity, creativity, and connection while still providing the warmth and comfort of a small, home-based program.
