Mini Bambini European Schoolhouse is Russian immersion daycare located in Irvine. Our curriculum blends Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Waldorf approaches, promoting a love for learning through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and open-ended play. We utilize Kumon workbooks, Nikitin's games, and Seguin's boards for cognitive development. Creative expression is encouraged, with individual art albums and diverse art techniques. With a passion for working with children, my journey began by volunteering with orphans in Ukraine during my teenage years. This experience inspired me to pursue a career focused on positively impacting young lives. Graduating as a Behavioral Therapist from the Mental Health Community Developmental Institute in the US, I specialized in working one-on-one with children.
Over five years, I gained valuable experience as a teacher and manager in childcare settings. However, it was my own experience as a mother that motivated me to fulfill my dream. I opened Mini Bambini, a family home daycare, driven by my dedication to provide a nurturing environment where children can thrive. It's a place where I can apply my accumulated knowledge and expertise, prioritizing the well-being and development of each child in my care.
Creating a home environment that supports and nurtures children is a key aspect of the Reggio Emilia approach, and it's something we prioritize at Mini Bambini. We believe that the environment plays a vital role in a child's development and learning. Our spaces are carefully designed to be welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. We incorporate natural elements and purposeful materials that encourage exploration, creativity, and problem-solving. The layout of our environment is conducive to building relationships, communication, collaboration, and play-based learning. By thoughtfully curating our space, we aim to provide a home-like atmosphere where children feel comfortable, inspired, and engaged.
In addition to the overall environment, we pay close attention to the details of a home-like setting. We ensure proper ventilation by regularly airing out the rooms, monitor air quality and humidity levels. Our oak wood floors allow children to experience the sensory pleasure of walking barefoot, fostering a connection to nature and promoting their physical development. For nap time, we prioritize comfort and providing children with toddler beds or cots. We understand the importance of nutrition, and our snacks include a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, packed with vitamins and nutrients. Additionally, we prepare daily meals for lunch and dinner, ensuring that our mini bambinies receive nourishing and balanced meals throughout the day.
