How much tummy time is healthy for my baby?

How much tummy time is healthy for my baby? I've been struggling with knowing how much is productive and if there can be too much tummy time?

Tummy Time is important for infants because it helps them develop their neck and shoulder muscles. We did tummy time twice a day for our babies. Now that they are older we tape the tummy time bags or materials to the walls or windows for them to be able to sit or stand up and explore. 0 Likes

Tummy time is important and useful for babies of all ages. As your baby grows you can increase the time and the complexity of the activity. As your little one grows and develops their focus and attention span will increase. As this happens, make sure you are ready with more challenging options. Some good things to include as you plan your tummy time activities are textures, patterns, colors, consistency, and temperature. Also be sure to add interesting items for them to use their finger muscles on; this will help them develop their fine motor skills. 0 Likes

There’s not a limit I don’t think, as long as baby is happy and not crying let me build their muscles 0 Likes
