I began babysitting when I was 15 years old. At that time I watched 3 children, a 6 year old, a 4 year old, and a 6 month old. When I was 18 years old, I began a career at a childcare center. I was the lead teacher for the “twos” class. This class included children from 18 months - 2.5 years. It allowed me to get very familiar with potty training, as well as curriculum for that specific age group. At the age of 22 I began working in the infant room. I was the lead in that room. That position involved everything from diapers and bottles, to art and curriculum as well. I was in that position for 3 years. Now, I am a stay at home mom to my 1 year old daughter. I have been home for a year and I think it’s time for me to get back to work. I am looking for a family that will be okay with my one year old tagging along to play.
