As a childcare provider I helped preschool-age children prepare for kindergarten. Preschoolers learn thru playing, solving problems, questioning, and experimenting. I provide playtime and other instructional techniques to help children’s development. I use storytelling and rhyming games to teach language and vocabulary. We also help improve children’s social skills by having them work together. We also involve the children in creative activities, such as art, dance, and music. I also create activities that allow children to learn about the world & explore interests. I develop schedules & routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest & playtime. I keep record of each child's progress, routine, interest, signs of emotional or development problem and bring it to the attention of the parents.
