I have worked as a nanny and caregiver for over 10 years. I am the fourth of eight children and taking care of children has been a passion of mine since I was young. I have cared for children ranging in ages of two weeks old to 17 years old. I love using my educational background, my dance and theatre background, as well as my summer camp background to bring creativity, adventure, and learning into my care-giving. From 2012-2015, I worked as the Teen Camp Director for Camp Carl. Each year, I was responsible for planning, creating, implementing, and facilitating a nine-week summer camp for middle school and high school students. I created multiple programs and lesson plan curriculum for my campers and my staff members. I also planned informal and formal training events, as well as recreational, team-building events.

I graduated with a Bachelor's in Education, and I completed a year of my doctorate program in naturopathic medicine last June. You will see this reflected on my resume as my husband and I were in San Diego. We were brought back to our home state to care for my family at this time. Although I am not currently in school, I am very passionate about health and wellness and also love to bring this into my care. I would be able to commit to this position for a minimum of one year. However, I do like to stay with the families I work with and become an integral part of their family culture. I have cared for many families who I stayed with throughout the course of their children's childhoods. I recognize the importance a nanny carries in their role, and I do not take it lightly. I always tell parents that my job is to support them.

In my free time, I love to run, and spend time outside with my husband and our fur babe. I have my own car, I am a non-smoker, and I am comfortable with pets. I am a dedicated, passionate, caring professional who believes in supporting and empowering young people. I am also first-aid and CPR certified, and I'd love to provide references from past families I have worked with. I am also available to start ASAP. I look forward to meeting you!
