Hi! My name is Kay Seldon. I am 27 years old and just gave birth to our first son on April 30. My husband and I are absolutely over the moon. Caring for children is my life passion and being a new mom, I definitely understand the importance of leaving your child with someone you trust completely. Did you know that children are in a state of hypnosis until they are 7 years old and the first 1,000 days of life are the most vital to their development? Whew… no pressure right? That is why it is so very important to leave your child in loving, compassionate hands with someone you trust to influence your child. With my combination of Reggio Emelia teaching and conversation/redirection style of guidance, your child will learn and grow in their empathy, creativity, and self confidence as well as their knowledge of basic skills. I have over 7 years of experience in churches, households and schools and have had the honor of guiding and teaching children ages infant-teenagers as well as students with special needs. I am FIrst Aid CPR AED Certified, Child CPR and AED, Infant CPR certified. A day under my care looks a lot like a day of adventure! With lots of learning, music, “field trips” to aquariums, beaches, museums, libraries, etc (with the permission of parents of course!).
