I have my application in for my Child Development Associate Teachers Permit (they take ages to process!) and I am 1 class away from having my Associates in Early Childhood Education. I love learning about the way children develop.
I have worked for 5 years at the Child Development Center on China Lake. I worked mainly with children from 18m-5 years old there and found it incredibly rewarding.
I also have previous experience nannying full time for 2 families in Utah, one of which I was with for over 2 years. It was so heartbreaking when I had to move!
Reading, singing, and overall just being silly are some of my favorite parts of teaching and caring for children.
My main goals in child care are to help each child feel valued and to instill in them a love for learning and discovery.
