I’ve been around kids for 5 years now. Not too long I decided to get a job in a Daycare + Preschool, I love every moment! I worked from ages 3 months all the way to 4 years olds. I also babysit on the side; kids from ages 6 years old to 12. I love being with kids and teaching them and having them learn about everything around them is amazing. During the day I substitute in for teachers when they are absent in the preschool and for the afternoon I am part of the aftercare program, taking care of the 3-8 months olds. I am also in charge of the toddler ages ranging from 1-3 years old. I’ve learned ways to better their growth development and encourage certain habits. I set a schedule for the babies and provide them with play time and learning time: learning to sit up, roll around, crawl, walk, and eat on their own.
