- 2+ years of experience working with children (kindergarten-5th grade) in a school setting as a substitute teacher and as an Early Language Interventionist.
- Ability to think on my feet and solve problems quickly & efficiently as they arise.
- Ready to jump in and help with light housekeeping and all tasks related to household & child care (meal prep, organizing, laundry, etc.).
- Constantly aware and mindful of safety and my surroundings, willing to take whatever steps or measures necessary to prioritize the children's well-being at all times no matter the situation.
- Innately skilled at understanding how to read a room, knowing when to step in or out, working alongside parents and other household staff.
- Uses professional discretion, while understanding and respecting the importance and strict adherence to maintaining the family's confidentiality.
- Driver's License, with a safe driving record. Own a well maintained vehicle with current insurance.
- Non-smoker and HUGE animal lover (I have 2 dogs and 2 cats). Also have a lot of experience caring for and riding horses.
