I have been working with children since I was a middle schooler! From picking up babysitting gigs to having a nanny family and working as a camp counselor, I really love the opportunity to work with children.
I started working within my church with children’s ministries volunteering in middle school then becoming a kids ministry leader in highschool. My freshman year I worked over the summer as a Tike leader for the city of Owatonna kid’s activities. We would meet at 2 different parks within the week and plan activities and games for kids. My sophomore year of high school I started for the first time as an after school part time nanny. I worked with 3 girls; 2,5, & 10 years old. The next 3 summers after, I worked as a camp counselor with kids ranging from 2y - 13y. I just recently did a nanny share with 2 awesome families from February 2023 - August 2023. I worked with 2, 3y old boys and helped the other nanny with the family’s 6 mo old girls.
