Hello, I am Amanda! I have 13 years of experience in caring for children in both public & private settings. I have had the pleasure of caring for children as young as two months premature to nine years old. Much of my experience comes from caring for several children at once, but no more than four. I am happy to help kids with their homework after school if needed. I love all children by showing compassion, friendliness & engaging in play as well as strengthening their imagination & creativity through reading & pretend play. When necessary, I adhere to the discipline rules as determined by the parents. I believe this approach provides a form of stability, as it keeps things from becoming too complicated for your kids to understand. I take a special interest in little ones under a year old, as I enjoy how easily their attention can be captivated, & I take joy in the cuddles & laughter that comes about between myself & the child through a simple game of peek-a-boo or bringing a storybook to life.

It is important to me that all of my families understand that I take my career as a nanny very seriously. I have solid, reliable transportation, and arrive to work on time, every time. Usually, I am a few minutes early. I am an honest, fun-loving, considerate, kind young woman with a loving heart for children.

I am always striving to learn new things in life - whether it be for personal or professional development. I am interested in taking additional courses for career advancement in the near future.
