Wingfield Family Daycare offers a warm, loving, fun-filled home away from home. Our mission is carried out with high quality in every aspect including age-appropriate academic progression, life skills and social emotional development. Our educators give an efficient amount of time and planning in order to conduct a safe, beneficial, and nurturing environment for children’s individual needs. I have been dedicated to the childcare field since 2002. The need for quality childcare exceeds the amount of providers positioned to effectively meet the demand. I earned my AA Degree in Child Family Education, my BS in Human Services and retired from Los Angeles Unified School District after working in the special education sector for 10 years. Understanding the dynamics of this industry, I further committed and started my own home daycare. It’s a special joy to work with children during their early childhood education years and remain connected even beyond grade school. Operating my daycare is an experience of a lifetime with priceless memories. I am reminded by the families of children in my care that my professional and personal services are greatly appreciated, highly valued and positively impactful.

The Home

Our home centers a quiet residential area, surrounded by family oriented neighbors. We have different education centers, a science area, game stations, literacy ladder, dramatic play, literacy library, age-appropriate manipulatives and critical thinking activities. Our child friendly poodle is a great addition who compliments our daycare in respect to licensing standards. Wingfield Family Daycare is prepared to welcome children each day and fully equipped to peek their imagination while positioning them for academic progression.

The Neighborhood

We are located in a beautiful quiet cul-de-sac, near great schools including Sunnydale Elementary, Amargosa Creek Middle and Lancaster High. Our community is safe and offers a feeling of ease and relaxation with open parking. Being just one minute away from the 14 freeway, you will find it easy to commute.
