Program

We are The Learning Forest Childcare Home in Concord, CA. Our childcare home offers a loving learning environment for children ages 12 months through 5 years. We provide all home cooked, healthy, organic, kosher meals. We pride ourselves in being culturally responsive and as a nature based, Montessori inspired program. We also have outdoor classroom space, a garden class with a green house and Chicken coop, tricycle and scooter time as well as nature walks. We are a strong community and as a former classroom teacher I set the bar high when it comes to my students educational goals. Teachers

As a former classroom teacher, I'm passionate about every child in my care. I also have a theatre background where I taught in Berkeley Unified for 5 years before becoming a transitional kindergarten teacher in OUSD. Together I have more than 11 years of experience guiding children. I have my BA in liberal studies and a Masters in Educational Leadership as well as my teaching credential. I believe in creating a healthy learning environment empowered by a love for social justice and set a goal of creating leaders and amazing, well rounded individuals in my students.

With my certifications in First Aid, CPR, and teaching, I balance safety, education, and fun, to equip children with the tools they need to thrive and achieve a bright and happy future.

Location

The Learning Forest Academy Daycare is a home daycare created to spark creativity and learning in a clean space. We also have dedicated areas for learning and activities that include comfortable nap spaces, an art gazebo, dramatic play station, surround sound for our musical activities, huge garden, orchard, chicken coop and more.

Our Concord daycare is located in the family-oriented neighborhood of Dana Estates with an elementary school and a middle school. We're also only a few blocks from accessible freeways.
