Program Diane Thompsons Daycare Services offers a nurturing, small-group program for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in New London. We combine developmental play-based learning with engaging projects that encourage curiosity, creativity, communication, and growing independence. Children enjoy age-appropriate activities throughout the day, along with meals provided as part of our care. We also support children through potty training when they are ready. Families can choose part-time or full-time care, with flexible tuition options and government subsidy acceptance. Our program is open Monday through Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., providing an unusually broad schedule for families with varied work and family commitments. We welcome up to six children, allowing for attentive, individualized care.
With 30 years of experience caring for young children, Diane brings deep knowledge and dedication to early childhood development. She holds a doctorate degree and has training in early childhood education, CPR, and first aid. Her background also includes early childhood program accreditation and national early childhood program accreditation. Care is provided in English, with a focus on understanding each child’s developmental stage, interests, and individual needs. Through play, projects, daily routines, and warm guidance, Diane helps children build confidence and foundational skills in a supportive home-based setting. Families can feel assured that their children are cared for by an experienced early childhood professional who values safety, learning, and meaningful connections.
