Bally’s Partners with Upwards (formerly WeeCare) to Provide Access to Childcare Benefits for Employees

Providence, RI — Bally’s Corporation (NYSE: BALY), a leading U.S. omnichannel provider of land-based gaming and interactive entertainment, and Upwards (formerly WeeCare), the nation’s largest childcare network, have partnered to provide childcare benefits for the company’s 7,500 U.S. employees across 14 states.

Through the partnership, Bally’s employees will have free access to Upwards’ expansive network of in-home daycare providers and caregivers. The program is designed to connect working parents and guardians with quality, reliable, and affordable childcare options — all while accommodating the non-traditional work hours of many casino and resort employees. Upwards’ Dedicated Care Managers will be available around the clock to help Bally’s employees source the best local childcare options, set up tours and interviews, facilitate enrollment, and support families once children begin care. These are all time-consuming, tedious tasks that busy working parents struggle with during their childcare experience. Upwards’ Childcare Benefits program will help to remove unnecessary childcare stress for Bally’s employees so they can focus on personal and family wellness and professional development.

“We are beyond thrilled that Bally’s has taken this important step in supporting their working families,” said Upwards CEO and Co-Founder, Jessica Chang. “Upwards’ network of licensed childcare providers that power our Childcare Benefits program is the largest in America, giving us the flexibility to provide Bally’s employees with access to affordable, local childcare options that meet their demanding and non-standard work schedules. There is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to childcare, so Upwards strives to meet every employee’s unique needs — which in turn helps companies decrease childcare-related absenteeism and increase retention.”

“Bally’s Corporation is proud to partner with Upwards and offer a convenient childcare solution for our Bally’s Casinos & Resorts family. We want our team members to focus on their families and careers without having a concern around childcare,” said George Papanier, President of Bally’s Casinos & Resorts.
