I've had to help my little sisters when I was 12yrs old while my parents went to work. I had to learn how to clean, cook, do laundry and watch them over until they old enough to not need my care, but then I had my little brother who was a newborn and had to learn how to feed him and change his diapers, wash correctly and practically was a hawk when around him. learned the burrito warp and made sure he ate the food he was supposed to eat and nothing solid or sugary. when he got older i took him to the park and played games with him, bought things. now is a little less since he is a teen but I still spoiled him. lol
