I started off on my childcare journey working for the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship doing childcare every Sunday during my teen years. I was a lifeguard for two years, and currently I am a Direct Care Provider at Hinge Point Youth Homes working with kids ages, 5 to 18 in the foster system who have behavioral and developmental issues, I work with seven kids at a time, all at various ages. I am CPR certified, medication certified, as well as first aid, and have my food handling certification. I am enthusiastic and hard-working, diligent and never take any shortcuts when it comes to child development and care.
