Being the eldest of three I have always taken care of little ones, with one brother having Aspergers I have a lot of experience with working with kids on the spectrum.In my senior year of high school, I spent half of my days working with the Elementary School as a teaching assistant where I would help kids with their homework, reading, etc. From August to December I worked with third graders and from January to May I worked with their Special Education class that ranged from kindergarten to third grade. Currently, I am in college pursuing a Psychology degree and with that, I have taken several child development classes. I have volunteered at my church nursery and children classes working with children from 6 months to 4 years. I am passionate about working with kids and want to incorporate that in my career as well.
