For the past 3 years in my career, I worked as a Behavior Technician for children/teens ages 2-17 with moderate to severe ASD. My duties included working 1:1 with psychologists to implement ABA strategies/styles of teaching, capturing/contriving age appropriate play schemes and real life scenarios, helping with homework, and occasional meal prep. I worked hard and eventually received my official certifications (RBT and BCAT). After 2 years, I decided to take my leave and began babysitting/nannying for many families all over Texas. I’ve worked with children from ages 2 months to 15 years and have proudly grown a loyal clientele. I enjoy being a nanny because it’s such a rewarding experience. I love building meaningful bonds with the children I care for and watch them grow over time. It’s an amazing feeling to play such a crucial role in their lives and to feel like I am making a positive difference in every single family I offer my services to. I also enjoy the variety of job offers, from creative activities to teaching moments.
