Hi there! My name is Olivia and while I have been providing care services for eight years now, I have done so professionally for six. I come from a beautiful, tight-knit family, myself being the youngest of four kids. I have always loved kids, so much so that when I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I would say, "a mom!"

My first professional babysitting job was with a special needs child, Chris, who I actually met with my sister at a Summer Camp for children and adults with special needs. Up until a couple months ago (I moved out of state) I was still spending time with Chris paid and unpaid. He truly is a now part of my family now and vice versa! He has Fragile X Syndrome and watching him grow and advance has been such a beautiful blessing in my life.

My other experience with caregiving extends to babies, toddlers, and elementary school level children as well. My most recent job with two wonderful young kids, but it was cut short due to the pandemic and their parent switching to working from home. I also have experience with overnight care, house sitting, and pet sitting.

To let you learn a little about myself, I am a very kind, open and honest person. I am fun but maintain seriousness when necessary. I am a huge animal lover so pets are always a plus! I have my own kitty and my family has cats and dogs so I have tons of experience there. I am so grateful to have such a beautiful life and I genuinely enjoy it to the fullest. I am a Christian believer, holding high standards and values. I do not cuss. I do not do drugs or excessively drink.

I have a lot of hobbies and things that I enjoy in which I love to tie into my care. Outdoor activities, play, and recreation, cooking, reading, art, etc. I would consider myself an advanced home cook and baker, so if interested I can always bring that to the table as well as meal planning and prep. I love making healthy, kid friendly snacks and meals that can involve the children in what I am doing. For the younger kids I usually set up a craft we can make together after the homework is done. I never mind taking the kids to the park, playing in the backyard, swimming, etc. I will do all that I can do keep them away from tablets and TVs.

Lastly, I have never not connected with anyone I have babysat for. Even though I can be silly and fun with them I do know boundaries and limits. They need to know that I am responsible for them in that time and I am not always there to be a friend and hangout. I usually "discipline" or handle situations based on parents' instruction to keep consistency.

With all of this being said, I would love to introduce myself and be your next sitter! I strongly believe that I would be a lovely asset to your family and know that it will be a pleasure doing so. My rates are flexible, but I base them off of the type and quality of care I offer. I always will do house keeping and chores if given permission. I actually enjoy cleaning!
