Hello, my name is Kayla and I am currently finishing up my Associate's degree in Journalism. After two years of studying Journalism I've realized that working with children is my true calling and I will be transferring to a university in Atlanta for my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I think babysitting would be a great opportunity for me to get more experience working with children

I was a tutor in middle school. For three days every week I would help elementary students with their homework (math, science, reading and writing).

In High School I frequently volunteered at a children's hospital where I worked with kids who had illnesses and disabilities. It was honestly one of the best times of my life the children at that hospital were so strong and full of life despite their medical conditions. I especially enjoyed planning Christmas parties for the kids

I also come from a very big family and since I am the oldest cousin I spent every weekend babysitting my younger cousins from as young as 3 months to as old as 15 years old (I've been changing diapers since I was 12!)

I enjoyed working with children throughout my life and I would love to do it again as I prepare for my future career as a teacher.
