I graduated from Sacramento State in 2019 with a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice and I’m passionate about helping others.
In the Fall of 2021 to present, I began working with the Goleta Union School District as a Paraprofessional where I work one on one with children on the autism spectrum. I supported these students in and out of the classroom assisting them achieve academic goals and positively work together with their classmates. I have enjoyed bonding with the students I work with by building trust with them and providing a safe space to freely express themselves. I have also greatly enjoyed playing and being active outside the classroom with the students I support whether during recess or P.E. I take great pride in being a positive role model for the children I support and have supported for the last few years!
