Profile

I have been supporting kids in a variety of roles for more than 5 years. My most recent experience is as a special education teacher in a nonpublic school. I taught all elementary and middle school subjects and am trained in reading intervention for struggling readers. I would be more than happy to bring this expertise to a tutoring role!

Before teaching, I taught adults transitioning back into the workforce, taught preschool, and coached youth gymnastics. I truly love supporting people as they explore and learn about the worlds around them. As I transition out of teaching into a professional role building the capacity of youth-serving community programs, I am looking to continue directly supporting the academic and social learning of children as a tutor.
